Eyebrow Definition
Defined brows are eyebrows that have been shaped and tinted to create a desired look. The effect can last for up to 8 weeks on the hair and about 2 weeks on the skin. Definition brows can be achieved through a variety of methods, including: Threading, waxing, trimming, tweezing & tinting.
Defined brows can make your eyes look more alluring and engaging. Symmetrical eyebrows can also create the illusion of a more balanced face.
Eyebrow Waxing/Threading
Eyebrow waxing and threading are both techniques for removing hair from the root.
Eyebrow Waxing:
A beauty therapist applies warm wax to the skin, which adheres to the hairs. A paper strip is then placed on top, pressure is applied, and the strip is swiftly removed, pulling the hairs out. Waxing is quick and can remove multiple hairs at once, which is ideal for thicker brows.
Eyebrow Threading:
A technician uses a sanitized cotton thread, which is twisted around individual hairs, then pulled out from the root. Threading is a traditional Asian technique that offers precision similar to plucking but without using tweezers.
